The Tarjouspalvelu supplier portal now includes a function through which ESPD questions related to contracts above the EU thresholds can be answered directly when submitting a tender. Instructions for using the system are available in Tarjouspalvelu’s support portal.


Some of the information requested on the ESPD form is mandatory, while the rest is optional. The contracting entity determines which pieces of information must be provided by suppliers for each call for tenders. A tender cannot be submitted if the information requested on the ESPD form has not been filled in properly. It is also advisable to reserve sufficient time for preparing the tender so as to ensure that it can be submitted by the deadline.


The supplier can choose to maintain an ESPD profile on the “My data” tab of the supplier portal, in which case part of the required information is transferred automatically to the ESPD form when preparing a tender. This will make the submission of tenders easier in the future.
